Great stay about 200m from the ocean with great facilities. Rooms are clean and the staff is great. We were able to have our dog with us which made it even more special.

We stayed here with two other families. It is a complex of modular build homes, which at the time of our stay were in perfect condition, and beautifully clean. Crisp white linen and towels were supplied and changed twice in our two week stay. Our apartment was also cleaned during our stay once per week. ( as far as I know you can pay for this to be more frequent). |The kitchen had a good supply of crockery and cutlery and a large fridge with a small freezer compartment. There was a combi microwave grill and a hob- but no oven - so no way to cook pizza etc. |We didn’t have any problems with ants - but other members of our party did. |Our accommodation was two storey- the air conditioning was only downstairs and during a heatwave the upstairs rooms got VERY hot. The single storey accommodation- might be a better bet- or check if more air conditioning has been installed. |There are two pools - one which is normal depth but with a shallow end and one which is standing depth for the whole pool. We had teenagers who wanted to play in the deep pool- but there were notices up at the deep pool saying no ball and no inflatable- for what is obviously a family destination we felt that this was unfortunate- after a few days it was apparent that most families were not adhering to that- so lots of family fun was had in the pool. |We had a lovely meal in the bistro, onsite but went into Châtelaillon du Plage most nights (a 20- 30 min walk ). There is a poolside bar with snacks- but these are not geared towards children- (think charcuterie for 17euro) so we ended up not using it as we had thought we would. |The accommodation was wonderful for families and the location was great—( two minutes walk to the sea- 20 mins to a swimming beach- lovely walk along the beach to Châtellion du Plage- Given the nature of the accommodation - availability of poolside snacks suitable for children would be a great improvement. |Overall I would have no problem recommending this lovely clean accommod

A wonderful place to stay, accommodation was really good, very clean and modern and plenty of room for a family and a dog! The facilities were great and staff were very helpful and friendly! Food onsite was lovely, and the salsa and family nights were really enjoyable. The local area is nice, with a short walk to the sea. Glad we had a car to visit local towns and areas! All in all a fantastic stay and will certainly visit again!

Even in February this was a great place for a one night stop over. We had a large room for the 2 of us and 2 dogs. Food at lunch and breakfast was excellent. Takeaway pizzas from the kitchen in the evening were also delicious. ( minutes walk to the beach for the dogs. Staff were very friendly.

We had a lovely time at Cote Ocean. Accommodation was perfect - 3 bedrooms, suited our family with our 2 teenage kids. ||Very clean and well equipped inc microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. ||Pool area lovely, usually not too busy, always able to get sun loungers. ||Kids loved the pool. ||We ate in the restaurant several times both for dinner and breakfast - food was very good. ||All staff that we encountered were very pleasant, helpful and professional. ||Only negative was the WiFi! Worked sometimes but not all the time! ||Otherwise we loved Cote Ocean and would definitely recommend it

We stayed just one night en route to Spain from the UK. We arrived late at night in the middle of winter and everything was ready for us - the room was super warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The resort looked amazing but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use any of the facilities. We would definitely like to stay again for longer!

We stayed here for 5 nights, in a duplex house. The house was VERY basic - didn't have an oven, a dishwasher or a washing machine. The sofa was a cube sofa with no back on it, so more like seats rather than a sofa - very uncomfortable. Cushions were so smelly. New towels provided every morning, bins emptied and beds improperly made. That was it! Floor was never swept or mopped. We had no mop in the house to do this ourselves. Wifi is really not great at all, very patchy. Can't imagine how bad it would be in high season with way more guests around. ||We were there on a Saturday night and there was a corporate party and the noise was ridiculous - a full DJ set going from 12am - 3am. We clearly stated at the time of booking the ages of our children (1 and 3) and we were placed in the house closest to where the party was! We were never informed of the party nor offered alternative accommodation. I emailed to complain and never received a response .||Pros:|Pool area is nice and clean|Restaurant is pretty good too||It's about 20 minutes from La Rochelle city - beautiful city so definitely worth a day trip if you are there.

An out of season one night stay in February to break our journey from St Marlow to Lot. Perfect. Enjoyed lunch and a pizza in the evening. Short walk to the beach which was great for our two small dogs. Will definitely return.
