Great place. Highly recommended. We stayed in a mobile home that was very practical, clean and comfortable. The pool was fantastic, the beach was brilliant and the facilities were excellent. The only negatives I can think of: 1. No air con in the mobile homes. Not a problem for us as we were there the week after the huge heat wave in August 2025, but I don’t really know how we would’ve coped in 40 degree heat in small rooms without air con. 2. Very loud entertainment on a couple of nights. Literally deafening music. Totally fine when you’re there and enjoying it, less so when you’re trying to put two small kids to bed and the hut is less than 50 metres from the main stage. 3. No wet weather alternatives. Yes, it’s a campsite, but for the money, there probably should be a covered pool area or similar. If it rains, there really isn’t anything to do. All in, definitely recommended but just have a think about where in the site to stay and your plan for heat waves/bad weather.

The cheek they have to charge £65 a night for a campervan pitch!! I’m really confused by these good reviews as none of it was our experience.||The site is over run, on both days of our stay we struggled to even fit in the pool because it isn’t a normal pool just windy thin bits for the lazy river, there’s kids everywhere and adults just sat in the water on corners. |The adult pool isn’t much better, tiny and was ridiculously busy again. |Both pools were murky and slimey definitely not clean as described. The bathrooms were also not sanitary, I went for a shower at 8pm both days and the cubicle had an awful smell and hair all over the grid. There’s no toilet seats on any of the toilets so you just sit on the ceramic. ||Let’s go to the beach we said day one, direct access they say, oh no 15 minute walk down a long path then a climb over hundreds of people and muddy sand. ||The staff who work there aren’t much better, all the reviews say lovely friendly staff we had yet to receive a smile. Woman on reception basically snapped at me when I asked if the pitch had shade and told me I can’t be picky. ||What I found the most horrifying is how extremely dangerous the slides are, the big slide on the left wobbles around in two places when people go down and it turns you over inside the tunnel. |One woman sliced her eye open quite severely and my husband went to get the lifeguard, he asked what happened and he said the slide and he just nodded like he already knew the danger and it’s a regular occurrence. |There was no rushing from the lifeguard at all to attend to this woman with blood pouring out her head around kids with horrified faces. ||Sweeper goes round constantly which is incredibly loud and absolutely not needed ||Washing machines and pool tables only take coins and some staff give you cash back at the bar/shop and some refuse? ||Only bins on the whole site are at reception a good 10 minute walk. ||That being said there is entertainment on every night, honestly that’

We stayed here in our caravan for 3 weeks over the summer holidays. 100% the best campsite we've ever stayed on. The pool areas and slides were fantastic, always clean and lifeguard on duty. The adults only pool was great (although walkways near pool very slippy) especially with the little bar nearby. The food court was awesome, had a great, reasonably priced variety of choice and the bakery and supermarket were well stocked and fairly priced. The location was amazing, a short walk to the beautiful beach and town of Lacanau Ocean about 20minutes which had loads of choice for eateries, bars and shops. Our pitch was spacious, level and perfect amount of sun and shade with a handy little picnic bench. The shower / amenity blocks were spotless, never busy and the laundry was excellent. Also probably worth saying, we visited Bordeaux for the day which was about an hour away - highly recommend, lovely city. The receptionist recommended we drive to the Hippodrome park and ride, which we did, and it was only €4.50 to park and for up to 7 people return on the tram, bargain! We will be back, it was a fabulous place, friendly, helpful staff and all well maintained and looked after. Thank you so much!

Yelloh! Village Les Grands Pins ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ Big pitch ours was a 10 minute walk from the pools and main areas Good well stocked supermarket . Entertainment so so, great for families with little ones. Thai in the village good. Walk to for rubbish & recycling bins Walk to the beach 10 minutes , beautiful sands and sea but you have to be exceptionally careful of strong currents. Perfect for surfing. Village 20 minutes , lots of shops restaurants bars etc . Great market. Excellent off road bike routes. Pine cones do drop and cause noise and sap causes marks on vehicles so lots of people take covers . Cars can be left in the car park at the front rather than on the pitch . Mostly Germans on our stay during their school holidays. Quiet at night . Toilets and showers clean , toilet paper but no seats so take your own for children . Premium serviced pitch £74 night including 🐶 Yelloh Village Yelloh ! Village Les Grands Pins

Absolutely amazing campsite that truly deserves its five-star rating! Everything was spotless — from the sanitary facilities to the beautifully maintained pool area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pitches are spacious, well-equipped, and easy to access — even for our 7.5m long and 3.3m high alcove motorhome. There’s a well-stocked supermarket on site with everything you need, plus several restaurants and bars to choose from. The animation program is great — fun activities for the kids during the day and entertainment for adults in the evening. The beach is huge and stunning, reachable via a path through the dunes, and the water is crystal clear. There’s really something for everyone here: ping pong, a pump track, basketball, football — you name it. Despite the site being fully booked, it never felt crowded. There was always enough space at the pool and we never had to wait long at the restaurants. What really stood out to us was the cleanliness and how beautifully the campsite is laid out — nestled among dunes and pine trees, it’s just a fantastic place to relax. There’s even a separate adults-only pool where you can swim undisturbed. We’re a family of five and had an amazing stay. We’ll definitely be coming back and can absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone!

A five star site, where all the facilities are clean and top notch. Aimed at families with young children with a water park, bouncy castle and play areas. A centre square includes bar and food. Either live entertainment or something showing on a cinema screen each night. Beautiful beach a short walk off site. Adult pool is lovely. Water and grey waste at a single motorhome service point by reception. Chemical toilet point at each toilet block. The site is set on a series of terraces slopping sharply to the sea. Walking from any of the pitches involves steep inclines. It's a rabbit warren of hills. We enjoyed our stay but at the weekend it's noisy and busy not restful.

It was like staying in a luxury 5 star hotel but with our motorhome. The photos on the website don’t do it justice at all. It’s amazing. The facilities are fabulous for adults and kids and you really don’t need to leave the site. The pool is the best pool we have ever seen in a hotel or campsite. It’s the best Yelloh Village we have been to and we have been to quite a few now.

We spent two wonderful weeks at this campsite as a family of four (2 adults and 2 young children) — and we loved every moment!||||There were so many activities for all of us. The pool area was fantastic, with lots of fun waterslides that our kids couldn’t get enough of. The beach was not too far away and absolutely beautiful — great waves for surfing and plenty of space to enjoy the sun and sea.||||The campsite facilities were excellent. The showers and toilets were always clean, and having a good bakery and supermarket on-site was really convenient, with fair prices too.||||All in all, we had a very relaxed holiday packed with great activities and lovely moments. We would definitely recommend this campsite to other families and are already thinking about coming back!
