We spent 2 nights at the B&B Aresia at the end of August and had a lovely time. The owners are very warm and welcoming and gave us great tipps for visiting the area and nice restaurants to go to. Thanks again for that! ||However, note that they only speak a little English, which works well, even better if you speak a little French though.||The room we had was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It could've been a little bigger, but since we didn't spend much time in the room we didn't mind. ||The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and you can really relax there. Breakfast was nice and offered everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights in June in the separate room facing the pool. The owners were amazingly friendly, breakfasts were first class and atmospheric and although the accommodation was smallish it was perfect for us. We made good use of the pool as the weather was very hot. Cap Ferret and L'Herbe were delightful (though Ares has little to offer in comparison).||We would absolutely love to stay here again if we were to visit this part of France. Merci beaucoup!!

Stayed a couple of nights at Aresia bed and breakfast. Overall we were quite disappointed with the whole experience. It felt more focussed on being profitable rather than hospitable. ||||Our room was rather small and in a disappointing location, behind the owner's garage. The little terrace was pathetic: around 2 sqm between the garage, house, garden fence and aircon unit (not sure whose aircon, we did not have aircon in the room). Clearly this area of the house was not originally meant to be a guest room. There were two doors to other parts of the house in the tiny hallway, one was permanently locked and the other one boarded up. ||||We were also surprised that guests can only use the pool from 14 to 19.30. I would imagine that most guests will be out at these times.||||The breakfast was quick and efficient but not nice. No local seasonal fresh fruit but some apples and oranges brought out from the fridge everyday that seemed to there more for decorative purposes rather than to be eaten. Some oven-baked croissants, baguette, toast, jam, cheese and ham that looked liked it was straight from a discount supermarket.||||I will not stay here again, did not feel it was value for money.||||In terms of places to stay I would recommend you avoid Ares, altogether. It lacks charm and tourist infrastructure like bars, restaurants, shops. For example, it is impossible to find a restaurant serving you dinner in Ares, after 21.00. You will be better off in Andernos-les-bains, Arcachon or Cap Ferret.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chambre d’Hôtes Aresia Bassin Arcachon Piscine, and I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The hosts were warm, kind, and attentive, making sure that everything was perfect throughout my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more special, and you can really feel the care they put into every detail. The room was spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The bed was cozy, the room was beautifully decorated, and everything was impeccably clean. It felt peaceful and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a long day. Every corner of the property reflects excellent taste, and the overall decoration is simply stunning. The atmosphere is elegant while still feeling warm and inviting. One of my favorite parts was the swimming pool. It is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and perfectly maintained. It creates such a relaxing environment that you can easily spend hours enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It truly adds something special to the entire experience. The entire property is charming, quiet, and exceptionally well cared for. It feels like a hidden gem where you can disconnect from stress and simply enjoy your vacation. Every detail, from the design to the comfort of the rooms, shows how much effort the hosts put into creating an unforgettable stay. I honestly loved everything about this place. It exceeded my expectations in every way. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in the Arcachon area, I cannot recommend this guest house enough. I would happily return without any hesitation, and I truly hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for making my stay so memorable!♥️

Superbe chambre d'hôte située dans un beau village du bassin avec un joli petit port ostréicole.|Calme, confort et prestations de qualité (très bonne literie, petit-déjeuner avec des produits frais et faits maison). On s'y sent tout de suite bien grâce à un accueil exemplaire avec le sourire. Une excellente adresse.|Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir lors d’une prochaine escapade vers le bassin!

Nous avons passé 3 nuits absolument parfaites dans cette magnifique chambre d’hôtes. Si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles sur 5, je le ferais sans hésiter ! Tout était réuni pour un séjour inoubliable : la maison est superbe et d’une propreté irréprochable. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents. Les hôtes sont adorables, extrêmement sympathiques, accueillants et toujours de bon conseil pour découvrir la région. Un véritable coup de cœur ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Des propriétaires très accueillants, sympathiques et chaleureux. Une chambre agréable tout confort et au calme. Un Petit déjeuner gourmand avec un excellent pain dans une belle pièce à vivre. Je recommande et y retournerai avec plaisir lors d’un prochain passage.

Nous avons passé un long weekend très agréable. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et savent s'adapter à leur clientèle remarquablement bien. La propreté et la décoration de bon goût sont a souligner. Je recommande.
