What a fantastic welcome by the staff. My room was adequately sized with everything I needed it was very clean and supplied with soap clean hot towels and free bottled water. Breakfast was an excellent selection of local and seasonal offerings. Good coffee and very quiet at night to aid some amazing and well needed rest. I would stay here again without question
We spent one night here. Reception were welcoming and friendly. Although the bedroom was not overlarge, it was as I would expect. The bed was large and comfortable. It was very quiet. The hotel was easy to find on the main road out to St Malo. Breakfast was good, with a large choice. I would certainly stay there again.
Last September we visited Cancale and surroundings. We stayed two nights in this hotel.||We were greeted by Mrs. Sylviane Boursin, very nice, pleasant lady. ||Our room had soft colors, this type of colors help you relax, soft decorations. Very clean and spacious both the room and the bathroom. Great big mirror in the bathroom. The floor in the shower is wood. We appreciated the bottle of water in the room.||The hotel it is not located downtown, but it is not too far. We used our car, because parking in the city is easy and affordable. ||Good buffet breakfast. ||For wi fi, upon arrival they give you a code for each device you have. It is not too strong.||The hotel is located in a quiet area with a Private parking.||We enjoyed the two nights in this hotel. Good prices, great value.
We stopped here on our way home to catch the early morning ferry from St Malo.||||We booked this hotel as it had parking and a family room. The family room was actually two interconnecting rooms, so better than expected. The hotel is fairly small and rooms are compact. However, they were very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable too. Unfortunately there is no restaurant for evening meals, only breakfast. The port is about 1km away and even in peak season we managed to park easily. There are plenty of restaurants and I wish we had had longer to visit the town.||||If needed, a supermarket and boulangerie are within a few minutes walk.||||The hotel also has spa facilities but we did not investigate these!||||St Malo is a 20 minute drive, so perfect for our needs.||||Would certainly recommend!
The double room we had was clean and very well arranged. The welcome from the receptionist at check in was warm and friendly. ||Parking is free and very easy. ||The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the city center which is ideal to go explore the sea front and go out for a nice meal, considering how hard it is to park in Cancale. ||All in all a very good hotel that we would be happy to stay at again.
Austerely basic, poorly designed room. Pillow is so thin that it provides no head support. Leaking sink and shower. Inhospitable staff. Located far from town on busy intersection.
A decent budget hotel about a 15 mins walk from cancale port area. Room was clean, bed was comfy enough. Tiny shower room, but did the job. Breakfast much as you would expect with lots of fresh pastries and breads. Free parking on site which is a big bonus over hotels in the port area.
We booked this hotel as we wanted somewhere with spa facilities and to relax for a few days. Please do not book this hotel if you want a spa type hotel. The 'hydrotherapy' feature is a pod type box you lay inside while squirted with jets of water, the sauna is only for 2 people at a time, there is no pool or Jacuzzi of any kind either. All treatments have to be booked in advance and are very expensive. The rooms are small and charmless, when using the shower, water pours onto the bathroom floor. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling above the bed. The fan in the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. It is a shame because although it looks like a concrete box on the outside it actually had a nice atmosphere when entering the reception area so we had high hopes for the place. But the worst part was the treatment we received from the manager when we said we (along with another couple we went with) that we would be checking out after one night not the three we had reserved online as we were not happy. The guy was not interested in our reasons for going and more or less said oh well, goodbye! We also had to pay a surcharge of 30% of the cost of the other two nights we had originally reserved. So all in all not a pleasant experience and we will be complaining to the Brithotel group.
