-update review- We came back 1 year later and the place feels even better than before. The lunch menu was amazing. Is nice to see that they keep their quality and good taste. We came for dinner after our Hennessy experience at Hennessy, and there they recomend us this place for dinner. The place is located in a super nice building in front of the local market. The service was exceptional (our waiter said was his first day, but he was super good). The food was exceptional, the music is an interesting option, with rap and a bit more modern music, but in a very good volume and selected with very good taste. And gives a very good ambience to the place. Was really difficult to choose what to eat, everything on the menu looks amazing. About the price we spent 37€ per person for a meal with a starters, mains, dessert and drinks (beers and cocktail). So I think is a very good price. We are going to come back for the lunch, they told us that for lunch they have a “markets menu”. We can only recommend this place on your next visit to Cognac.

Twice in one week, that’s how good l’Arty Show is. The staff and the service they provide are simply delightful. Pleasant, polite and always with a smile. The food is innovative, something different every day (check instagram), local, seasonal and fresh ingredients, with the portions just the right size. At EUR 24 for the full 3 course menu this is very good value. If only every town had an independent restaurant like the Arty Show, the world would be a much better place.

Such a fantastic space to stumble upon in Cognac for a final dinner in France. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the host knowledgeable and generous and the food was lovely. Mixed platter was a standout.

We came here for dinner and cognac tasting. Our host Emmylou was very friendly in introducing our drinks and the menu to us in English. We had a very pleasant experience.

Super simple but tasty food with great service at a decent price. Just needs to add a zero alcohol beer to the menu ant it would be perfect.

Delicious food and cocktails! I love that it’s tucked away from the main street, giving it a unique vibe. Can’t wait to come back for the midi-menu and to enjoy the cute terrace in summertime. We haven’t tried every restaurant in Cognac (yet), but this one is definitely in our top 3!

My favorite restaurant in Charente. Amazing cocktails along fantastically creative food of which half are vegetarian. The staff is friendly but also very professional. The lunch menu has 2 appetizers, 2 entrées and 2 deserts of which at least one of each is vegetarian. The dinner menu has many more dishes.
