This hotel was our family and friend’s base for a nearby wedding. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us and make us as feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. They even bought fans for all of our rooms when we arrived since our visit coincided with the record heat wave in late May. There were numerous other small kindnesses that were above and beyond expectations. The rooms were very neat and clean and what we expected from a smaller town. They have a cute bar area and other spaces to gather in. The breakfast was also very good.

We visited Redon for the festival La Bogue d’Or, so this was one of the busiest weekends of the year in Redon. The hotel is a mid-priced hotel with outstanding service. The service is helpful, personal, attentive and high quality. The location is superb, in the centre of the town, opposite the market hall, and within a few minutes’ walk of everything. We explored Redon on foot. Breakfast is very good value and very good in quality. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are well equipped and the hotel staff go out of their way to help in any way. The bar is very convivial and open any time. We will definitely stay at the Sedrez when we next visit Redon.

My wife and I stayed here in June 2025 during the fantastic music festival. Josef was very helpful and even moved his car so I could put my MG roadster in his spot. Lovely hotel in great location . Sorry for the late review. Thank you.

Great experience greeted straight away and assisted with my bike. The owner has great empathy for customers and great customer service, the hotel is immaculate on every level. As for the breakfast well it kept me going all day. Highly recommend this hotel, good old fashion courtesy and customer service

We spent a night at the Sedrez Hotel at the end of a Britany vacation. The hotel is very central , great for visiting the city and also a couple of blocks from a canal and the train station. It has been recently refurbished . Room was very clean, so was the bathroom , and very quiet. We had an excellent breakfast . What made our stay memorable was the hospitality shown by Sandra ( one of the owners) and her husband . They had no problem with our somewhat early check in, and on the next day they went beyond any expectations when Sandra drove to meet us half way to Nantes when she found out I had forgotten my backpack with my passport and documents! Thanks to her we made it to our plane in time.|Both Sandra and her husband speak excellent English.

We stayed in this hotel during the summer and Josef was so accommodating and kind. The service provide was excellent he went above and beyond. The hotel is lovely and clean and the breakfast provided was great. I highly recommend

A very clean and smart hotel in all aspects. The host is exceptional and the wine in the bar is carefully chosen at a reasonable price. Nothing not to like

Chambre impeccable, malheureusement la salle de bain n'est pas au niveau d'un 3 étoiles. Très exiguë, pas de bouche d'aération, joint porte de douche à refixer. Très mauvais accueil à notre arrivée, heureusement la personne du matin et petit déjeuner était agréable. Rien à redire sur le PDJ
