Charming little bed/breakfast that my wife liked more than I did. Room was small and stuffy (no air conditioning), and the wifi did not work on any of our (Apple) devices, despite repeated emphatic assertions to the contrary from the owners. Still, the owners are lovely people, and serve a nice continental breakfast on the patio outside the rooms (or in the kitchen if you prefer). And the place has its charm – little songbirds line up to beg for bread offerings each morning, and occasionally one of the cats would wander into our room, through the patio door, to have a look around. Convenient to St. Jean de Luz if you have a car. (If you don’t, I’m not sure how you would even find it.) Near (but not at) the beach. Cash only – no credit cards accepted.

Very nice! Clean and tidy - smart and attractive garden complete with hand feeding French sparrows. Hosts pleasant and accomodating. Could not really fault apart from tiny bedside tables and small coffee pot. Would return and recommend.

This family-operated hotel is very comfortable, cozy, peaceful and beautifully maintained. My tastefully decorated bedroom was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Very good breakfast with a special treat (home-made cookies or madeleines) every morning. All members of the family are so hospitable and helpful that it doesn't feel like a hotel at all. The beach is just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

We booked Argi Eder based on reviews whilst en route from Spain to Normandy. Therefore, the location for us was convenient. The weather was not good on arrival. The rooms are in a lower ground floor of the house and are small. There was room for one double bed and a chair with a lack of useful table surfaces. We booked a double room with a garden view. Strictly speaking okay but the garden banked up outside the window so you get to see a lot of grass. The décor was very 'seaside' with washed wood surfaces, rather pretty. The en suite was adequate but with a sliding door separating. Noise insulation not the best, the bed was good. Breakfast was excellent bread with butter and jam but that was it! Coffee and orange juice of course but no meats, cheeses or pastries. Bill was Euro 85 plus tax. Miffed to find a notice in the breakfast room that the rate should be Euro 70. Shan't be returning.

We stayed in Agri Eder on our way back north coming from Spain. We selected Agri Eder based on TA reviews, which are usually reliable. but this time, we were disappointed. THe building has a perfect location very close to the Atlantic Ocean, and welcome was excellent by Pascal.|In the room we were disappointed because the wardrobe was quite dirty, the room felt quite primitive, and most of all the bed was not good, it was declining (not leveled) , and mattras was hard. Had very bad night.|Conclusion : has a great potential, with better beds and cleaning. Again, the warm welcome and magnificent location are very positive points.|But to me, not worth the very high review score...

Argi Elder is a private, clean, modern and comfortable bed and breakfast ideally located a few meters from Lafetania point near St. Jean de Luz. The owners, Pascal and Véronique are awesome hosts and have intimate knowledge of things to do in the area. We enjoyed every moment of our 7 night stay here and hope to come back soon.

Stayed a couple of nights at the Argi eder - it was everything I needed. Very comfortable room, very quiet and good amenities. Did everything at a great price, and the location was fantastic - very near the centre and the beach. Helpful staff, very clean and just a great stay.

Wonderful little hotel, clean, comfortable, breakfast is superb, owner is very friendly and helpful. Owner's wife speaks English.
