Very good hotel, maybe better towels, but great appart from this issue

Where do I start, yes it’s cheap, but…..|Walls like paper, very dated and tired decor, Loo flush reluctant to work, shower screen did not close, we ended up with hair clips to hold it shut or water went everywhere.|Bin gone rusty on the loo wall, and generally poor quality. Though excellent restaurants around it, lovely staff at the hotel and it is at least clean and nice bedding and quality mattress on the bed.

Perfect for a night before airport exit. Simple, plain, straightforward accommodation with typical breakfast and good beds. Small, clean room, and an excellent location in a business area that is quiet at night. Very reasonable price and parking on site. We recommend this hotel!

Booked our stay on hotels.com and it took an hour to convince the hotel that we had a booking since they said they were not on hotels.com and started to call booking.com to find my booking which was obviously not there. Showing them the confirmation email made no difference. Finally they checked exepedia and found our booking. The rooms are nice and clean but it’s so noisy that you can hardly sleep even with earplugs. People use the fire escape as a shortcut and playground and it resonates in the whole building. The hallway is super echoey and loud. |The sheets were too small for the bed and barely covered the top of the mattress. In the middle of the night police and fire brigade came to the hotel and it was a lot of noise and shouting. What is this hotel? We will not stay again.

I was given room 117 and immediately I occupied the room, I heard the thumping of a herd of Elephants run access my ceiling. When I complained to the Receptionist, she said it was caused by kids jumping up and down in the room above. No effort was made to resolve this problem so I checked out and demanded a refund having occupied the room for a "Hotel from Hell" experience of the worst 30 minutes of my life.

The rooms are better than how it looks from outside! Really nice place to pass the night.
