Good rooms with (for us) lovely rustic roof and wooden floors, great shower. We are a bit baffled by some negative reviews as we experienced a very pleasant welcome by all and had a delicious meal - really tasty and interesting. We are here just for one night as part of a 5 day trek but have taken a card as would like to return for longer.

I went to the restaurant, i’d say one of the best views in the area as well as being one of the top 5 restaurants in the area. It isn’t too expensive and the ingredients are local. The food was pretty good, i had the tartare de bœuf which was good but the meat was a little hard. Id say this is a place to go at least once. The restaurant itself is very nice as it was built in a remodeled farm. This a retreat boutique hotel so if you want a trip with your loved one this could be the place for you.

Where do I start ? We had advised an arrival at 12 but were told that the room was not ready yet no problem as they had a nice restaurant and interesting menu at a descent price, that was not an issue. After our meal we went back to the reception and the same staff with attitude said that our room would ONLY be available from 3 pm (they only have 5 rooms !!!) We waited past 3 pm to be ALLOWED in ! |That was the same person who had refused to refund us the year before even we were entitled to a full refund having cancelled way ahead on a direct booking and would no longer confirm a room directly, hence the booking via booking.com at least we could use the money owned to us at the restaurant which looked great. Sadly the food was not! Dry, over fatty and the desert was old and tasteless When we mentioned this, it was ignored. We paid for it but did not finish it. We also were told that for our last night they will have a 60 Euro special chef surprise menu and unless we take that we would not be allowed in the terrace but would seat inside instead where breakfast was served. We wanted to have the cote de boeuf!!! |So we opted for a meal somewhere else.|All up a very nice place but sadly a missed opportunity to make it special due to too much attitude

if you come to the center of France and like Authenticity, make the trip to this magnificent well-being farm... you will be captivated.. 1st by those who welcome you and also by their team..2nd by the authenticity of the place. You will have the choice of discovery between the bistro or the gourmet restaurant. Cleira and Quentin make you travel through their dishes by their know-how, authenticity: whether the excellent Rib of beef , the smoking of their salmon or their trout or their own bakery arranged ☺ in their magnificent farm... you will taste "the whole homemade". A panorama of the Mezenc massif will sublimate your day, which you will end at the Spa in order to spend a good night in their rooms which remain in conformity with the building. I strongly recommend the well-being farm simple but authentic cuisine which entered the Gault et Millau.

An excellent hotel with a breathtaking view. Good for hiking. Friendly and attentive staff. Good restaurant with local produce and wine
