Prayed at chabad and had shabbat dinner with my wife Friday night. Warm, welcoming, plentiful meal! Points for improvement. The minyan listed for 745 pm online, was scheduled for 8 and started at 830 pm. The entrance process needs some thinking. Obviously there are security concerns and the gate needs to be locked, but standing outside knocking for 15 minutes is a little much. The Nice central synagogue by contrast had security people outside who checked you and then let you in.

Nothing like chabad! Very friendly and very welcoming people, there is prayer services weekday and shabbat, there is a milky pizza Resturant at chabad, descent prices, delicious! (I think in the summer there is a meaty resturant as well, not sure) overall had a very nice experience at chabad! If your in Nice you have to visit.
