Lovely campsite, in a beautiful setting among the trees and hills with a heated pool and plenty of space for kids to play. Nice bar and small restaurant with a weekly music concert featuring local bands. |We enjoyed local bike rides, trips to the lake, visits to the local caves and the Creperie in Pontarlier was a great hit with the kids.|Huge thank you to Jacques and Pierrette for a lovely holiday and looking after us so well, we will be back!

This is in the forest but next to the road so you do get traffic noise. There are no separate facilities so all are shared and there are not enough of them for the whole campsite. The showers are incredibly small, you can’t get changed in them without getting everything wet. They were also closed in the morning for cleaning, when they are in the most use. The pool is great but understandably gets very busy for the amount of people that are staying there in high season.

Great campsite with friendly people. Nice pitches, a pool, bread service and the option to have a simple diner. The campsite is well set up and the toilets and showers are clean. A great campsite to visit and also close to the village of Levier.

An efficient and very welcoming traditional site. A neat little bar and a proper swimming pool are bonus features. Levier, the local town, has a supermarket within walking distance of the site.|Pitches are good-sized, with plenty of electric and water points, and most are shady.|Plenty to visit locally, the sources of two rivers, The Loue and the Lison, which emerge as waterfalls out of caves in cliffs, the old salt-works at Salins les Bains is really interesting and welcoming. Parking a motorhome is easy at all these places.||A good site for a few days to look around a very attractive area.

This is a real gem of a campsite. The owners are very helpful kind and attentive. Their spirit and energy is what makes this place so special. There was a wonderful music entertainment evening when we were there which was very jolly. Our children loved it here. There was a lot for them to do. A nice sunny swimming pool, table tennis, table football, and a lovely playground. It is stylish, unpretentious, laid back and in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms are very clean and facilities excellent. They also have very good recycling and composting facilities. You feel that the owners respect the beautiful environment the campsite is in. Only two downsides. The near by supermarket is often closed and also you cannot empty the camping car grey water at the camp site. It is near the source du Lison and Loue and plenty of other great hiking and wild swimming areas. So a good spot to locate yourself for a few days. You will find a warm welcome.

Best campsite I have ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing! Set in the forest of Levier, this campsite offers a unique experience for those wanting to explore the Franche-Comté. If you are lucky enough to be here for the weekly BBQ and music concert you will be warmly welcomed within the camping community. Come visit this French jewel of a campsite!😍😍

Fantastic site, well run by the owner and family, lots to do around the area, good for young families or older people, bar area ,heated pool, children's play area what more could you want?

There is no wifi connection despite the fact that they promise it both on the website and personally at the reception. By now I am used to this particular lie. I've stayed at several campgrounds and hotels in France that make the same false claim. When I complained at the reception after fully installing and paying for a 4 day stay the woman made the rediculous excuse that there are trees that block the wifi. Sorry, Madame. It is 2022. Either you offer wifi, or you do not offer wifi. Trees have nothing to do with it. If you do not offer wifi then please, at least, DO NOT TELL LIES! This is a recurring problem in France both in campings and in hotels. Does noone regulate the claims made by tourist accommodations? Are they allowed to lie to customers without regulation? Deceitful people exhaust me. Wouldn't the world be better if we didn't need do deal with liars? Camping de la Foret are deceitful.
