MAHARAVOU RAVO

We were supposed to stay there one night at the end of our tour in Mayotte, however, we end up staying three nights. We checked in twice as our flight was cancelled. We stayed in two different types of rooms. One room had an adjoining room with a bunk bed. The hotel could use some updating. Each time we checked in we had to ask for a towel as we were provided only one bath towel for two people. The hotel is in town close to shopping and restaurants. It is also a short ride to the ferry. The staff at the front desk is very helpful. They have a restaurant I had breakfast and dinner there. The food was okay.

Very nice, big renovated rooms, air cond works well, very clean, staff is helpful and nice. Breakfast is big and good. Satellite tv works well, plenty of channel and good signal. Wifi is efficient and stable. The whole place is safe and calm and bedding is comfy.

The hotel is clean and safe. The kitchen is very capable. Breakfast is great, but the fruit options are a weakness. The rooms are poorly appointed. The cost at 150 euro/night is about 4 times what a room like this would cost in most other places. a bright spot is the staff. They were friendly and competent. Parking is under the building in a poorly lit garage.

In the midst of a water crisis, they had water. Very clean. Great hospitality. Several employees spoke English. Centrally located. Definitely a great choice for Mamoudzu.

This hotel is clean and comfortable even if not a high standard place. Food cooked by the Malagasy chef is very good and staff is welcoming.|Rooms are basic, but with all necessary items. Wifi working well. Well located in the city and 10 min away from ferry terminal. Definitely the place to stay in Mayotte.

Clean and comfortable bed. Good breakfast - try the chicken sausages. Wifi extender in every room but many don't work. No dinner Saturdays and few other options. Full kitchenette but they didnt spring for coffee / tea packets or a bottle of water. No mini bar, good size tv with one English Channel and 8-9 French ones. Useful literature on desk but no pen or paper. No change when I tried to pay in cash (visa only) - they went out and got some, resulting in a handful of euro coins. Housekeeper doesn't knock before entering so use the do not disturb button if you use the toilet or shower.||This would all be ok if it weren't the most expensive hotel in town.

I chose this hotel because of the location close to my customer, I am traveling for work, and because they offered parking.|When I arrived today, they told me that you can only get parking if you stay for more than 7 days?!|Street parking is payable and only to maximum 4 hours. The guys at the front desk were not helpful at all.|I also got a room close to the elevator shaft (2510) which is loud at night.|

Wonderful experience on several counts. Reception people got us into our room early & manager Raj went out of his way to obtain a proper electronic adapter for me. They even found a park for my long distance jog. Everyone had a smile @ the front desk.
