BOUGIE RENOVATION

We literally discovered this store while strolling through Montmarte but had to come back because it was closed.....but that pink! The pink facade got us first, so quintessentially French and cute. The candle options are excellent and plentiful to choose from. We got gifts based on one of the great sales they were offering. The staff was outstanding and stayed with us patiently helping with everything. Highly recommend!

We was accidentally passing by and we just wanted to see what was the shop about! Handmade candles! Geneviève was really friendly and really good at her job! I wanted to buy all! Just came back home and light my candle! All what I was needed was this! Merci Les Bougies de Charroux! <3

I visited Paris a year ago with my husband. The hand-made candles we bought at Les Bougies de Charroux are still as aromatic and pleasant as they were a year ago.

One of the few places that has clean candles and they smell amazing! The shop keeper gave great recommendations including a blueberry candle that is great for covering up cooking smells. The prices were comparable to those of clean homemade candles on Etsy in America. Would love to come again.

I was already a fan of their scented candles. Finally I went to this store in Monmatre, Paris. It was amazing. This store should be on your bucketlist.

love the aesthetic, vibes and especially the array of scents! the retail staff was really sweet & friendly and willing to switch to English for us. she shared a story of how the candles were made & how they should be lit and maintained properly. definitely will visit again!

2 parts to this review : - the products : the candles are very good quality, long lasting but most importantly long lasting in smell! They have a plethora of smells, and seriously well done. None of the smell I tried felt industrial. - the store itself : went to the one in Lyon, very friendly super helpful and welcoming. The one in Paris is an ode to parisians, not friendly and a bit cold, but does the job.

Absolutely amazing candle store, the attendant was lovely and informative on how the candles were made and suggested scents i might like. Highly recommend
