The beautiful old hotel in the last stages of renovation. Our room was lovely, give me a four stars because the bathroom floor was very slippery and I almost cracked my head open. Service was okay. The guy on the desk at night was way friendlier than the woman that was there during the day. Breakfast was very very good, included in some rooms or available as an option for 16 euros. The location was terrific. An 8-minute walk to the shore but far enough away to be quiet at night.

This will be a lovely hotel with great location, pleasant staff on reception and nice decor.|Unfortunately still undergoing renovations with staff giving empty promises on completion. |Currently dusty and no bar.|Even once completed there will be a major flaw in that there is one lift which can take up to 300kg but in reality only 2 people at a time, due to its size. |Hotel has accommodation over 6 floors.|Please read reviews carefully as little mention of work being undertaken and hotel and booking sites don't mention it. We found won't help once you have booked.

We had a beautiful corner room. Two balconys in the main room and one in the bathroom. Overlooking the church and bolovard. The cafe has a nice terrace and the food and service were excellent. It was a short walk to the beach and a pedestrian avenue of cafes. Good experience.

When booking, no information was provided about the restrictions in the room, I consider this to be illegal, false and unreliable selling information. In fact, it was impossible to open the curtains in the room all day, because something was constantly collapsing on our balcony, or construction workers were siting, yelling and hammering there starting at 8 a.m. At the same time, they were constantly smoking and all this stench was constantly in the room. No one offers to be made to change nomber inspite I was living there with child!

Overall, this is a good hotel with friendly staff and good service. Everyone was kind and helpful throughout our stay, and we appreciated the hospitality. However, the most important thing in any hotel is the quality of sleep, and unfortunately this is where our experience fell short. We were unable to sleep properly last night because both the bed and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were honestly some of the worst we have ever experienced. They were so hard and unsupportive that it felt like sleeping on a wooden board. The mattress was equally uncomfortable. A hotel can have great service and beautiful facilities, but if guests cannot get a good night’s rest, it significantly impacts the overall experience. We left feeling exhausted because we were unable to rest at all. We hope the hotel considers upgrading the pillows and mattresses, as it would make a huge difference for future guests.

I was really disappointed with my initial room. The balcony/window was completely blocked by an active construction site, to the point that it genuinely felt like being in a prison cell rather than a hotel room in Nice. There was absolutely no view, no daylight worth mentioning, and zero privacy - construction workers were literally walking right past our window throughout the day. Keeping the curtains open was not an option at any time, which made the room feel dark, claustrophobic, and uncomfortable. This situation was never mentioned prior to arrival, and had I known, I would not have booked this room. I did speak with the front desk, and to their credit, they moved us to another room (rooms are clean however). The second room was larger, which I appreciated, and although it had the same blocked "view", at least that side of the building appeared to be finished, so there were no workers walking directly outside the window anymore. Still, paying for a room in Nice and having to live with curtains closed all day because of construction right outside your window is unacceptable. This should be clearly disclosed in advance, and rooms like this should be avoided altogether. l've attached photos to show exactly what guests are dealing with. Also, the breakfast - zero vegetables, limited choice and the cafeteria is located in the basement with no windows. I do not recommend. …oh, and the pillows - hard as stone.

A charming hotel, but rather expensive for a three star hotel. Apart from that, we liked everything: ambience, furniture, decorations, location, breakfast (and its staff), wifi, cleaning, air-condition (that it could be switched off), hotel restaurant etc. Well not everything; I always complain about the shortage of wall hooks and hangers. The same old song again.

I reserved 3 rooms for a family trip. 2 of them had hot water issues the whole time as well as no barrier for shower water so they had to pile up towels to prevent the floor flooding. Also, the floors and showers are very, very slippery. |The WiFi was spotty, the bed was very hard and the pillows flat and hard. Also, coffee in room was very poor. Fridge didn’t work in one of the rooms. The breakfast was good, but in the basement. There is construction going on at the hotel which I know is important, not sure if that had anything to do with some of our issues. All this said, the staff was very kind and we appreciated that. The location is good.
