Beautiful B&B with amazing hosts, Annemie and Nick who somehow make you part of their family without intruding. We stayed in the beautifully appointed suite (double bed and sofabed) with lovely views. Great breakfast is included and a three course dinner with Annemie, Nick and Mattice is available at an extra cost (highly recommended). A pool with luxury loungers and huge umbrellas, a bocce court, a TV room, outdoor furniture, patios and a central courtyard with comfortable seating where guests can get to know each other all add the charm of this lovely place. Located next to a lavender field between the medieval towns of Lauzerte and Quercy this is a great place relaxing.

What a disappointment. We arrived and parked to be greeted by four dogs of various sizes (beware the smallest one, he/she bites). I walked across to the yard outside the reception, the door was ajar but it would have been inappropriate to just walk in. I knocked and called for 20 minutes without response. Even the dogs got bored of waiting and fell asleep, so I returned to the car and drove off. Such a shame because the location (from what we could see) was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay with Annemie and Nick and their guests. Their home and its setting is so serene and charming. And they are such delightful, gracious, and welcoming hosts. And the food was a delicious and wonderful and delicious surprise: for dinner, the best duck confit I’ve ever had and perfect breakfasts. A beautiful temporary home for you to enjoy the area :-)
