I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a more local Parisian experience. One of the standout features was the location. It’s only about 30 minutes from Gare du Nord on the metro, making it very easy to get to. What I loved most was the neighbourhood itself. The hotel is right next to a street full of lovely restaurants and bars, and the area feels trendy without being overcrowded with tourists. It has a more local, authentic vibe, and with independent theatres nearby, it almost feels like stepping back into the 1970s. The staff were another highlight. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the area. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations, all of which we really enjoyed. The hotel decor is very modern and stylish, which added to the overall experience. We were also lucky to have a room at the back of the hotel, so it was nice and quiet—perfect for a good night’s sleep in terms of noise levels. The only downside for me was the bed. It was quite firm—uncomfortably so—and although the staff tried to help by placing a duvet under the sheet, it didn’t quite solve the issue. A proper mattress topper would have made a big difference. The pillows were also very large and quite bouncy, almost like sleeping on a balloon, where one side would lift as you rested on the other. Overall, aside from the bed comfort, it was a great stay with a fantastic location, lovely staff, and a really nice atmosphere.

We have stayed in many hotels from one star to six in Paris over the years but this hotel was top notch.||We arrived at the hotel from Montparnasse Gare station and it was only a couple of minutes walk.||The booking in was straight forward and we were soon off to our room.||The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom and the bedding was nice too.||The tv in the room had more channels than one could count, with four English channels amongst the number which was a bonus; most hotels just show BBC World Service.||We didn't dine at the hotel as there numerous restaurants near by.||We don't pass comment on sleep quality as you either have a good sleep or you don't - simple really.||The hotel is ideal for those want to walk to the Eiffel Tower and the areas around Montparnasse - you can (we did) walk to the Left bank and get Metro back.||If your going into Paris catch the Metro at Saint Placide (on the Rue Rennes) as going into the metro at Montparnasse Gare is a nightmare.||An excellent hotel in a good location with excellent staff what more do you want. ||Bon journey

Great hotel in Paris; clean, comfortable, and well-located. A special mention to Wissem at the front office. He was very friendly, welcoming, and informative. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide, and his service truly stands out. He is an exceptional asset to the hotel. Also, the rest of the team deserves appreciation too. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless, and everyone from reception to support staff was courteous, helpful, and professional throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

I am writing as an IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite member and Ambassador member regarding an extremely disappointing experience during my recent stay in Paris from 28–30 May. Upon arrival at the hotel, we discovered that the air conditioning in our room was not functioning. With outside temperatures reaching approximately 32°C, the room was unbearably hot and unsuitable for occupancy. When we contacted reception, the staff acknowledged that the air conditioning was indeed not working, but they were unable to provide any clear resolution timeline. What followed was over three hours spent attempting to resolve the issue with the hotel staff, including more than two hours waiting in the reception area alongside several other unhappy guests experiencing similar issues. During this time, the only solutions offered were: * A very small portable fan * Alternative rooms significantly smaller than the room category originally booked, with slightly less sunlight exposure * A proposed 10% discount despite the room remaining unusable None of these options addressed the core issue or provided a reasonable standard of comfort expected from an IHG property. Eventually, after spending a substantial portion of our vacation time dealing with this situation, we ourselves had to propose that the hotel refund our stay so we could book accommodation elsewhere. The hotel finally agreed, and we relocated to another nearby hotel, Drawing House, where the air conditioning worked properly and the level of hospitality and customer support was notably better. We were informed yesterday that I would receive written confirmation regarding the refund shortly; however, as of now, I have still received nothing. As a loyal IHG guest with Platinum Elite and Ambassador status and more than 25 nights stayed across multiple IHG properties in last 2 years, I find this experience extremely disappointing. a wonderful stay at Voco Paris Montparnasse. The hotel is beautiful, very well located, and offers great amenities and service. What really made the experience special was the staff - everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Killian, who assisted me greatly during the weeks before my arrival, and to Aminata for her kindness and professionalism during my stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. Looking forward to coming back!

This is an excellent place to stay. The hotel decor is stylish and well thought out. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The room we stayed in was excellent with very good facilities and we enjoyed having a terrace. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The location is a bit further out to access the city centre but most places are a short taxi ride away.

AC was not working in our room. The gave us a portable unit. The staff is great. If you need anything they are more than happy to help. Metro and bus stop just outside the entrance. When in Paris download and use the official app, it will help you navigate the cities transit systems.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay at this lovely location. Sonia was excellent at check in and made me feel very welcome. She offered her assistance with my questions and made my stay feel very special. The room was perfect and had a good view. The housekeeping staff was top notch and also very kind and accommodating. The location was perfect for my trip with the metro being only steps away from the door! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris. I definitely hope to return soon!
