Update: Got the visa in 5 days only. Very efficient. Very good experience applying for a visa this morning. Cordial staff and super smooth security. Near metro station.

Although not very visible or accessible from the main road, the place has very good service. It is located on top of the building with the Renault showroom.

People are so polite in there. But it’s better to make an appointment to make things smoother.

Le consulat du Japon à Marseille offre un excellent accueil. Le personnel est très sympathique, volontaire et professionnel. Les démarches sont traitées rapidement et avec efficacité. Une équipe vraiment à l’écoute, qui fait tout pour aider au mieux. Un grand merci pour leur travail de qualité !

Personnel qui laisse à désirer. J’envoie exprès un mail un mois avant pour une prise de RDV pour un Visa et on me répond que ce n’est pas nécessaire et que je peux venir sans. Je viens donc quelques semaines plus tard avec mon dossier complet, et on me refuse l’entrée dans le bâtiment car je n’ai pas de RDV, malgré le fait que j’ai fais le déplacement exprès et que j’ai expliqué qu’on m’avait dit qu’il était possible de venir sans !

2023年8月14日に、ジェノバからニースに向かう列車の車中で、パスポートと財布の入ったバックの盗難に遭いました。マルセイユ領事館に電話した所、当日はフランスの祝日で、緊急対応のオペレーターに繋がり、翌日に領事館に電話する様にとの事でした。翌日は旅程を変更して、マルセイユ日向かう途中の8:45に電話したら、領事館のSさんは、こちらの不安な気持ちを汲んで頂き、的確な指示をしていただきました。指示通り、午後の開館の13:45に領事館に入り、パスポートの再発行の手続きを行い、翌日の午前中には新しいパスポートを交付して頂きました。今回は、フランスの祝日中に、子供に戸籍謄本を写メで送って貰い、その際にも本籍地の江東区の戸籍課からマイナンバーカードを使ってコンビニでとる方法をご教授頂き助かりました。マイナンバーカードがなければ、江東区の出張所に出向く必要がありましたので、マイナンバーカードに感謝です。 盗まれた財布には現金と運転免許証、クレジットカード2枚が入っていましたが、クレジットカードは24時間対応なので直ぐに停止出来ましたが、本人確認の運転免許証を財布に入れていたのは、大反省です。しかし、盗まれたパスポートの写真をスマホに保存していたので、本人確認が出来ました。何より、マルセイユ領事館のSさんは、盗まれた者の気持ちに寄り添って対応して頂き、言葉に出来ないくらい感謝しています。また、コロナの3年半を経て、ネット情報は陳腐化していますので、まず最寄りの大使館、領事館に電話することをお薦めします。
