We stayed here for 3 nights in June. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring all the sights of this beautiful region. Olivier and Florence are wonderful hosts; so friendly and welcoming. Our room (No 6) was attractive and spacious, and had a great view of the lake.||The restaurant is excellent, dinner and breakfast served on an elevated terrace overlooking the lake. We eat there every night, no need to venture into the town.||Thank you Olivier and Florence, we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location, simple but clean and well appointed room, Oliver and Florence are wonderful hosts, very tasty local food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We visited the hotel on our way back from southern France, we looked for a nice place near the water in an authentic village. Jura is a great region with lots of forest and hills to go hiking or (like us) to go cycling. ||The owners of the hotel were very nice and helpful, it looked like they run the place with the two of them. ||Rooms were fine, each room has its own theme and many of them a stunning view over the lake. Great when waking up, you could take a swim or just admire it.

In June I made a bike trip from Luxembourg to Bourg en Bresse, following the 'Green Road to the Mediterranean Sea'. On a Sunday evening, when I couldn't find a place to stay in Pont de Poitte, I contacted this hotel, at 6 km only, which appeared to be a very good choice. The owners, who formerly worked in Nantes, are very friendly, the hotel rooms are simple but clean, offering nice views on the lake, but the real secret of the place is the restaurant, which serves excellent homemade food for a very reasonable price. One may have a tendency of only staying in the hotel and eating 'uptown', but consider doing as I did: take a glass as aperitif uptown, and then let yourself treat to an excellent meal in the restaurant of the hotel: you will not regret it!

We stayed here for only one night. Toilet still had poo stains in the bowl, shower head couldn't even hang up as it was broken. The shower was very old and I'm not sure the shower curtain was clean. These factors made it feel quite unclean (how does a hotel cleaner miss cleaning the toilet for the next guest?!) Needs some maintenance! The walls are very thin and you can hear the dishes being done in the kitchen downstairs and people coming back to their rooms late at night. Breakfast was overpriced. No warm items and no cheese or cold meat selection, just bread/croissants and jams, one type of cereal, tub of yogurt. It does have a great location but we wouldn't stay here again.

As a professional, we had reserved three rooms in the evening stopover for 2 nights: that is to say dinner and breakfast included, except my room just breakfast included at 50 € / day. In addition to not having respected the advertised prices + 50 euros, breakfasts were invoiced in addition to 10 € so in fact, the evening stopover does not exist! and the price was increased by a total of 20 euros/day/room !!! The workers left the next morning as they were so cold during the night and asked me to find them another hotel otherwise they would leave the site ... do not flush the toilet during the night because that makes noise, the rooms are not made from one night to the next, the tables are not cleared, you have to bring back your breakfast tray, .... it's "Nightmare at the hotel" the joke !

Fantastic location. Clean and cosy rooms. Attentive service. Family run hotel like in the old times. Top.
